The American Secretary of State, John Kerry has arrived the presidential villa for bilateral talks with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Kerry arrived the forecourt of the villa at about 3:05 pm and was received by the State Chief of Protocol Ambassador Lawal Kazaure.
The American number one Ambassador is expected to engage President Buhari on issues bordering on further United States assistance to the country in tackling terrorism, militancy in the Niger Delta and the dwindling economy.
Kerry on conclusion of the meeting with the President will then hold a closed door deliberation with seven governors from the north.
The governors include those of Zamfara, Bauchi, Borno, Kwara, Adamawa, Sokoto and Benue represented by its deputy.
