Jose Mourinho has revealed his delight with Manchester United fans after they helped the Red Devils to a 2-0 victory over Southampton on Friday night.
The United boss had earlier called upon the home fans to raise the roof at Old Trafford in order to carry the team to victory. After a Zlatan Ibrahimovic double as Paul Pogba made his second United debut, Mourinho credited the fans for helping the team move top of the Premier League.
"They couldn’t be better," claimed the Portuguese. "I got what I wanted, what the players need, what the players deserve."
