Check Out These Two Lovely Sisters

This lovey-dovey pair of barnyard owls may look a lot like besotted lovebirds but they are actually sisters. They were seen in woodland in Lea Marston, Warwickshire UK, and even when in flight, they stayed close to each other.

The photos were captured by a wildlife photographer by the name of Leslie Arnott, 55, during a Country Events and Falconry partnership where he teaches people how to photograph static and flying birds of prey.
He said:

“They started rubbing heads and getting quite affectionate. Then came the moment they appeared to kiss each other. They ‘kissed’ twice. It was probably not intentional but it was a moment I have never witnessed before or since - despite many attempts to try and get them to repeat the moment for others.”
